If you won't be using your filter for more than a few days, we recommend storing it while you're out and about. You can take the filter out of its bottle or pitcher, and then we recommend letting it dry out for a few hours on either a paper towel or a kitchen cloth. After you've done that, you can store it somewhere dry and cool in a ziplock bag or you can store it in the fridge. If you're using a pitcher, you can store the pitcher along with its filter in the fridge, and then it'll be ready and nice and cool for you when you return!

Be sure not to put your filter in the freezer, and make sure it only ever touches water as it's not designed for other drinks or soaps.
