Before using the filter for the first time or if the filter has not been used for an extended period, then it is best to fill your bottle and let the filter sit in the water for at least 45 minutes. This will allow the Everywhere Filtration media to get saturated and improve the flow of water. Also the filter flow will improve with consistent use.
